STEWARDSHIP EVENTS AT SPRING GARDEN PARK
Sign up at the link to join us! Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. This is a great way to get outside, enjoy nature, and help care for your local park. Volunteers will be working in the garden beds and along the soft surface pathways, sometimes on uneven ground. Tools, gloves, and project instructions will be provided. These events are family-friendly, and all ages are welcome to participate. However, children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. We encourage you to attend with members of your household/family!
Brought to you by Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) and the Multnomah Neighborhood Association (MNA). Contact: communityevents@mnapdx.org / kayla.miles@portland.gov

Two Can Tuesdays is expanding to Multnomah Village
Beginning Oct 24, 2023 the popular "Two Can Tuesdays" food donation pick up program is expanding to Multnomah Village - SW 31st through SW 34th streets north of the Village up to Vermont! Brought to you by Positive Charge PDX
SIGN UP FOR A PICK UP
It’s very easy to donate - sign up at twocantuesday@gmail.com, leave your non-perishable items or hygiene items at the end of your driveway or next to your mailbox by 9 a.m. each Tuesday, and our volunteers will pick them up and deliver them to The Neighborhood House.
LOOKING FOR BUSINESSES TO HOST COLLECTION BIN
The program also has businesses - cafes, libraries, and small grocery stores - that allow us to put a bin in their place of business and we pick up donations from there. Interested to participate in that? They would love to expand those partnerships into Multnomah Village as well.
VOLUNTEER TO DRIVE
The program is so popular that Positive Charge is also looking for new volunteer drivers ~ donors, volunteers, and anyone with questions can email twocantuesday@gmail.com.
SOLVE Oregon
These cleanup events are ongoing. The MNA Community Events Committee works with SOLVE to host community clean up events in our neighborhood that:
Restore and preserve Oregon’s environment.
Mobilize the power of volunteers, partners & generosity of donors.
Bring diverse communities together to improve the health/safety of our neighborhoods and natural areas.
