Woods Memorial Natural Area Stewardship Event

Join Portland Parks & Recreation and Friends of Woods Park to remove invasively growing non-native species in Woods Memorial Natural Area. Removing invasively growing species enhances wildlife habitat and encourages regeneration of native plant species to prevent erosion and water runoff. This is a great way to get outside and enjoy nature.

Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Instructions, tools, and gloves will be provided. For the safety of staff and other volunteers, please stay home if you are feeling sick.

Registration is required! Visit event website
